With sales of more than a million copies and the number of confirmed variant covers at 89, Marvel’s first Star Wars #1 in nearly 40 years is already one of the best selling comics of the decade. It was assumed that a Loot Crate edition was part of what propelled the sales to the million dollar level and today’s unveiling of a Gabriele Dell’Otto cover for a Loot Crate variant. You can still get this variant by signing up for Loot Crate by January 19th at 9pm PST to get one—it’s part of a “REWIND” themed crate.

Appropriately, the cover shows Han and Chewie in the process of smuggling some loot.

Star Wars #1 by Jason Aaron, John Cassaday and Laura Martin debuted on Wednesday with parties, signings and favorable reviews.
