Writer Peter Milligan has a new comic on the way with Out of Body, the first issue of which is due out in June, with Milligan joined by the creative team of artist Inaki Miranda, colorist Eva De La Cruz, and letterer Sal Cipriano.

AfterShock Comics will publish the book, marking the first collaboration between the publisher and Milligan. The story involves a protagonist who has his “life hanging by a thread,” and he must use his astral projection to try to figure out who it was who tried to kill him. Reading deeper into the preview text, there is also a “beautiful mystic” helping him, as well as “a demon who seems to be Dorian Gray.”

Sounds like a great mix of narrative elements. You can read the full preview text below, with five interior pages from the first issue, which is due out June 2. Enjoy!
