The Nib has published some wonderful political comics in the last two years. One of their latest is by Ganzeer and Yazan Al-Saadi and it explores the current situation in Egypt, and Cairo specifically now that we’re almost 8 years removed from the Egyptian revolution that toppled former president Hosni Mubarak and four years into President El-Sisi’s rule. Ganzeer and Yazan Al-Saadi provides a look at how people are coping now that crackdowns against dissent has gotten more rampant than ever. People are genuinely on edge and there’s a climate of paranoia and despair. It’s a must-read for anyone who wants to get a better understanding

You can read the entire comic over at The Nib
