Back in March, the cast/crew for the animated adaptation of Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee’s acclaimed Batman: Hush comic was unveiled. Today courtesy of IGN once again, an official trailer for the project has been released. Though no official release date has been announced, expect it in the summer. Here’s hoping for a world premiere at SDCC!

Coming to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital later this summer, Batman: Hush is inspired by the acclaimed 2002-2003 storyline written by Jeph Loeb, penciled by Jim Lee, inked by Scott Williams, and colored by Alex Sinclair.
Batman: Hush centers on a mysterious new villain known only as Hush, who uses a rogues’ gallery of villains to destroy Batman’s crime-fighting career as well as Bruce Wayne’s personal life, which has been further complicated by a relationship with Selina Kyle/Catwoman.
The film brings back many DC Universe Original Movie veterans, including Jason O’Mara, who reprises the role of Batman. O’Mara is joined by Jennifer Morrison as Selina Kyle, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane, Rainn Wilson as Lex Luthor, Sean Maher as Nightwing, Bruce Thomas as Jim Gordon, Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne, and James Garrett as Alfred.
Homeland actor Maury Sterling voices the key role of Thomas Elliot. Rounding out the cast are Geoffrey Arend as Riddler, Vanessa Williams as Amanda Waller, Jason Spisak as Joker, Adam Gifford as Bane, Peyton List as Poison Ivy, Dachie Alessio as Lady Shiva, Peyton List as Batgirl, and Tara Strong voices Reporter.
Behind the scenes, Batman: Hush is directed by Justin Copeland and written by Ernie Altbacker. Executive Producers are James Tucker, Sam Register, and Benjamin Melniker & Michael Uslan. The creative team also includes Producer Amy McKenna, Co-producers Alan Burnett and Jim Krieg, and Character Designer Phil Bourassa.
