Baristas fighting monsters, fantastic creators, and hot coffee encounters- So What? Press has all sorts of things in store this month!

Starting in mid-April, a new 10-page Tales of the Night Watchman story by Dave Kelly will be featured in the Park Slope Reader, a free of charge quarterly publication in Brooklyn, NY. At 2 pages per publication, this installment will feature artwork by Simon Fraser (Kingsman, Doctor Who.) I’ve had the pleasure of viewing the first two pages in advance and absolutely love them; wonderful, crisp style, line, and color that brings to life an intriguing opening sequence!

Kelly has also collaborated with artist Robin Ha (Cook Korean!, Women of Marvel) on a short erotic Night Watchman comic as part of an erotic fiction collection produced by Chicago’s beloved Volumes Bookcafé. This following the completion of their “save the store” IndieGoGo campaign, the fundraising sexy anthology will be available for purchase through Volumes’ website.

Coming up this weekend, So What? Press can be found at table A105 Society of Illustrators’ MoCCA Festival, held at 653 11th Avenue in Manhattan April 7th and 8th. The table will be manned by Dave Kelly & Lara Antal alongside both Simon Fraser and Robin Ha.
