EXCLUSIVE: Barbiere, Quinones, & Coleman’s ASTONISHING TIMES coming to print from Dark Horse

Dark Horse Comics is bringing another Comixology Originals series to print next year. Astonishing Times, the five-issue series by writers Frank J. Barbiere & Arris Quinones, artist Ruairi Coleman, colorist Lauren Affe, and letterer Taylor Esposito, will get a print collection from Dark Horse, slated to arrive in stores in July 2022. The series follows a reporter investigating what the mysterious death of a former superhero.

Here’s how Comixology describes Astonishing Times:

Noah Sans, a young reporter living in the shadow of his father, lives in a world full of superheroes — but no one seems to care. After a world changing event called The Cataclysm, people moved on, and now heroes are old news. But when Noah begins investigating a mysterious murder, he comes face to face with his most revered heroes and is forced to confront a secret past that could change the world forever.

Astonishing Times is the latest Comixology Originals series to receive a print collection from Dark Horse Comics as part of the two publishers’ ongoing agreement. Other titles getting collected editions from Dark Horse in 2022 include Ray Fawkes‘s In The FloodGreg LockardTim Fish‘s Liebestrasse, and Jeff LemireJock‘s Snow Angels Season 2. Dark Horse also announced earlier this week that Scott Snyder & Greg Capullo‘s We Have Demons will see release in print as both single issues and a trade paperback collection in the new year as well.

The print collection from Dark Horse Comics is available now for preorder from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and your local comic shop, and is due out on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022.
