Last night saw the premiere of the latest DC Films big screen release, Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. As with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, creators who have had played a role in the character’s ongoing adventures were invited for the festivities.

This morning, DC Entertainment released the following photos, with Wonder Woman creators, past and present:

Pictured above from L to R are: Jim Lee, Marguerite Bennett, Trina Robbins, Dan DiDio, Shea Fontana, Greg Potter, Steve Leialoha, Nicola Scott, Len Wein, Liam Sharp, Brian Azzarello, Cliff Chiang, Marc Andreyko, James Bonny, and Tony Daniel.

Phil Jimenez also attended, but didn’t make the picture.

Here’s Lee and DiDio with DC President Diane Nelson on the blue carpet itself:

Geoff Johns was joined by Jon Berg, together they comprise the leadership of DC Films:

And a nice shot of Johns reunited with his old mentor, Superman: The Movie director Richard Donner.

Here’s a few after the film reactions, just to whet your appetite a little more:

Combined with some of the early critical reactions on social media, there’s a lot of reason to think WB may have righted this ship. I will say, I saw the film two nights ago at one of the Fan Screenings they held across the country, though I shall remain mum and hold to the review embargo. We’ll have a review up by Tuesday morning!

  1. I’m happy to see that Len Wein was well enough to attend, and kudos to him for going for comfort instead of style! :-)

  2. Not really fair to put Bill Loebs on a plane – how can a one armed man defend himself from the sky thugs that run the modern airline industry?
