Writer Michael Aushenker and artist Rafael Navarro will be at the WildCard Ink (Gumby Comics) booth # 724 promoting the new GUMBY’S GANG series, with issue # 1 starring POKEY. It’s a 24-page, full-color all-ages book. Michael will also be signing copies of his own CARTOON FLOPHOUSE humor comics, and Rafael will be signing copies of his latest SONAMBULO luchador detective comics.

§ Woah Comics will be returning to WonderCon (Booth SP-15) and are bringing their four mini-comics with them. In pages of these books readers will find monsters, heroes, and simple people with big dreams or take a dangerous psychedelic journey through the old west. At the booth will be several San Francisco locals: writer Adam Farrar, artists David Rodriguez and James Wilson and the editor Eric Weiner.

§ Batton Lash and Jackie Estrada will be at the Exhibit A Press booth (#726).

Look for them next to Gumby and across from the CBLDF. Fans in search of back issues of “Supernatural Law” will be in luck–Exhibit A is having a “Back Issue Blowout,” with all issues on hand priced at $2 each. Exhibit A is also running specials on trade paperback collections and T-shirts. And while they last, Batton will have some of his original “monster mini-portraits” for sale–one-of-a-kind hand painted on small canvases. Batton and Jackie will also be part of WonderCon programming, appearing on the Sunday “Comic Book Couples” panel:

12:30-1:30 Comic Book Couples— Lois and Clark. Barry and Iris. Peter and Mary Jane (well…not anymore). The real story about comic book couples is in the real life team-up of comics lovers and creators. Couples Brian Azzarello and Jill Thompson, Wendy Pini and Richard Pini, Trina Robbins and Steve Leialoha, and Batton Lash and Jackie Estrada talk with moderator couple Andrew Farago and Shaenon Garrity about comics, love, and their love of comics. § Asylum Press sets up ship at Wondercon to spread the insanity.
