The Croatian superteam of writer Darko Macan and artist Igor Kordey have collaborated on several comics for Marvel and elsewhere (SOLDIER X), but to our knowledge, TEXAS KID, MY BRO is their first creator-owned webcomic/thingie. And it’s incredible.
A multi-layered story about a European cartoonist whose father is a more famous cartoonist—and creator of the Texas Kid—in the first 23 pages it morphs into a biography of the father, a boy with an affinity for animals who is mercilessly bullied. It’s an artistic tour de force and you can’t stop reading it because you have no idea where it’s going.
TEXAS KID, MY BRO updates on the 24th of each month with up to 8 pages of new content. Bookmark!
