A few of preemptive notes about starting some education classes in 2016, since many of you will be beginning a new course.
§ Frank Santoro’s online comics making course is starting up again in 2016. His course is $500 for eight weeks, but if you apply before cChristmas you get $100 off. A good deal. I rapepd with Santoro about his course and his upcoming comics dojo here at More to Come.
Santoro School Application guidelines:
-3 figure drawings done on blank 3 x 5 index cards
-3 landscape drawings done on blank 3 x 5 index cards
-3 still life drawings done on blank 3 x 5 cards
-draw in a contour line style – Think Matisse – no underdrawing – draw directly in ink
-just send me small jpgs of images – dont post to your blog pls
-specific url links to any comics work you have done.
Course starts January 15 2016 – 8 weeks – 500 bux
Applications due by January 1st
Early applications by Dec 25th – gets you $100 off course fee
