Star Wars art from the best selling, year best Star Wars #1. The force is strong with this gallery. Metropolis opened earlier this year, and this will be our first time checking it out. They have a Masters f Fantasy show still up as well. Owners Vincent Zurzolo, Jr and Robert Pistella have great access to amazing art so should be worth a peek.
Metropolis Gallery is pleased to present for viewing and purchase Star Wars: The Art of John Cassaday from the New Marvel Series. The exhibit will feature the work of Cassaday, the acclaimed artist behind Marvel’s new hit Star Wars comic book series, plus other famed Star Wars illustrators as well as original vintage toys, comics and limited edition prints. The exhibit/sale is a joint venture between Metropolis Gallery and Albert Moy Original Art of New York.
The opening will be on Friday, November 13th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm with complimentary hors d’oevres and beverages at 36 W 37th Street, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10018.

Heidi, I know you and the other Beaters are super-busy and all, but is it possible that these announcements for events could be posted a day or so ahead of time? I usually can’t make these things without being able to plan for it at least the day before. Or, does anyone know about a comics-oriented calendar site somewhere? There used to be one back in the day.
