In 2014, Rick Remender and Wes Craig, along with colorist Lee Loughridge and letterer Rus Wooton, launched Deadly Class. The Image Comics series, which follows a group of misfit high school students coming of age at a secret academy that trains assassins, was an immediate hit, getting picked up by Syfy for a television adaptation. Today, the network released a First Look trailer for the series.
The Deadly Class television show will be produced by Anthony and Joe Russo, the directors of the recent box office smash Avengers: Infinity War. Doctor Strange star Benedict Wong has been cast in the series in addition to actors including Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, Michel Duval and María Gabriela de Faría.
