Last year an anonymously sourced webpage called Fair Page Rates made some waves by assembling a survey of 60 professionals on who paid what and which publishers were the hardest to work for. The survey was later upped to include 127 answers, still a fairly low sample. The survey was criticized by some for its unknown origin and faulty statistics, but as I like to say, it’s a snapshot.

The Year in Review, 2016 Surveyis now live, with some fairly simple questions about low and high page rates, and a text box to vent ire.

I realize many will have misgivings about this, but knowledge is power. While a lot of information is shared on private Facebook groups these days, that isn’t always available to new creators. In case you haven’t guessed, I’m usually in favor of MORE information. So if you have some spare time over the turkey-drenched holiday, you might want to consider filling it out.
