Dick Grayson is one of those characters that just can’t seem to settle down. Always the heir apparent to the Batman title, DC has changed his status quo a few times ever since Chuck Dixon settled him out in Bludhaven; first during his big crisis of conscience during the Devin Grayson run, then threatening to […]
Hadrian’s Wall #1 Writers: Kyle Higgins & Alec Siegel Artist: Rod Reis In my more yeshivish days (there weren’t many, but I dabbled), I spent some time in the vicinity of scenic Lakewood, NJ. While it may not seem like the place to be, Lakewood is home to Beth Medrash Govoha, one of the largest yeshivas in the […]
Image Comics has positioned itself as the premiere place to tell sci-fi stories. With a portfolio that includes top books like Saga and critic favorites like Descender, one might argue it has become an overcrowded market…that is unless you can turn the genre on its ear. Kyle Higgins (Power Rangers, Nightwing), Alec Siegel, (C.O.W.L) and Rod […]

They fought off monsters, piloted giant robots and netted 100,000 advance units sold to comic book stores! By Kyle Pinion One of the bigger initiatives to come from the Big Two this year is the advent of the three weekly titles from DC Comics: Batman Eternal, Futures End, and Earth 2: Worlds End. With the latter on the verge of release, and Batman Eternal continuing to perform well in DC Sales Figures, […]
DC have announced, I’m fairly certain today, that both Nightwing and Batgirl will tie in to the current Batman storyline Zero Year. Revisiting a year in the early development of Batman, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s 12-part storyline will rope in both Barbara Gordon and Dick Grayson this November.
The only cons I like better then ones that I can ride my bicycle to are cons that only take an hour and a half drive. Sometimes the commute is intimidating and it’s much easier to just stay home. Amazing Arizona Comic Con gave me too many reasons to not miss this event.
