It’s a Spider-Man-like How did I get into this mess? inner monologue that introduces a delightfully self-deprecating superhero who’s already in over his head.

Archie’s Dark Circle Line Gives Out A Little More Info


Archie’s Dark Circle imprint continues to slowly dole out details on their new line.  The latest announcements were adding David Williams as artist on The Shield and Jose Villarrubia joining Dean Haspiel and Mark Waid on The Fox, presumably as color artist.  They also unveiled the Francesco Francavilla promotional art piece you’ll see on the left of this page.

Archie unveils its first Dark Circle line-up


Archie’s revamped superhero line, Dark Circle Comics has just solidified its first wave lineup of three ongoings to launch early next year:

THE BLACK HOOD from writer Duane Swierczynski (Judge Dredd, X, Birds of Prey) and artist Michael Gaydos (ALIAS)
THE SHIELD from writers Adam Christopher (The Burning Dark) and Chuck Wendig (Blackbirds) and artist Wilfredo Torres (The Shadow: Year One), THE FOX from writer/artist Dean Haspiel (Billy Dogma, HBO’s Bored to Death) and scripter Mark Waid (Daredevil, Kingdom Come, founder of Thrillbent).
