ugh… Nice idea, horrible looking commercial.
I wouldn’t say it was horrible, but it made me think more of animation than comics.
I’m amused that a couple genres in the commercial (super heroes and sci-fi) aren’t very well represented in the actual convention.
I don’t know about that, Melvin; my memories of SPX seem to include quite the healthy portions of superheros and scifi. They may tend to be on the emo end of the spectrum, but they’re certainly there, though thankfully not in the monopolistic quantities found at your WizardWorlds, et al.
