It’s like DLC that you read! The Spider-Man from the critically-acclaimed PS4 video game is getting a miniseries all to his own next year. Marvel’s Spider-Man: City at War will adapt the storyline from the video game into comic form. The six-issue miniseries will be written by Dennis Hopeless, with art by Michele Bandini and covers by Clayton Crain. The series will include story moments not seen in the video game, as well as behind-the-scenes features on the game.
PS4 Spider-Man made his comic book debut earlier this year, in the pages of Spider-Geddon #0, which was written by Christos Gage and featured art by Crain. In that story, Superior Spider-Man Otto Octavius recruited the alternate reality Peter Parker into the battle against the Inheritors. The character has since popped up as a background character during Spider-Geddon.
