Sony doesn’t have a great record when it comes to handling the Spider-Man franchise without Marvel Studios (guess we’ll find out whether Venom delivers this weekend) but its upcoming Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse animated feature film may prove it do Spidey right.

Fans can expect a whole multiverse of Spider-Men to appear (I’m personally looking forward to seeing Spider-Man Noir as voiced by Nicolas Cage) and thanks to Funko we can get an early glimpse of some of the other web slingers appearing in the movie.

The Funko Mystery Minis showcase Peni Parker a.k.a. SP///dr, a character created by Gerard Way and Jake Wyatt, who will be voiced by Kimiko Glenn of Orange is the New Black fame. A radically different version of the Scorpion unlike any iteration that’s appeared in the mainstream comics that calls to mind the infamous CGI Dwayne Johnson Scorpion King in the The Mummy Returns is also revealed. And of course, did anyone really expect that a Spider-Verse movie wouldn’t include Peter Porker?

Also of note, though images of the Kingpin have already been released that resemble a Bill Sienkiewicz inspired design, it seems like this Wilson Fisk is so corpulent that he requires the use of not one but two canes.
