SPACE (Small Press & Alternative Comics Expo) , Columbus’s longest running die comics show, has announced its 20156 dates: April 9 and 10, 2016, as well as a new free admission policy. The venue will be the Northland Performing Arts Center.
This year’s SPACE had a problematic date the weekend after the San Diego Comic-Con, traditionally a verboten time for anything comics related, after the hotel that was to have held the show went out of business. It seems to have worked out just fine, though. However the spring date, in the middle of the crowded spring schedule, (It’s opposite Emerald City) should allow books to debut across a variety of shows and regions.
