One of the most sought after pieces of exclusive merch at NYCC 2017 was Mezco’s One:12 Collective Wolverine. This is the Canucklehead in all his tiger stripe glory. After months of waiting, I finally managed to get my hands on one.

Right out of the box, this figure looked impressive. Three head sculpts, eight different hands and Ogun’s mask. I quickly started fiddling around with different hand and head combinations. This is going to be a lot of fun.

Once I got Logan out of the his plastic tray, I was even more impressed. Like other figures in the One:12 Collective line, his costume is a mix of fabric and plastic. On Wolverine, basically everything yellow from the shoulders down is cloth and everything blue is plastic. The costume looks great. I had some issues with the design of Mezco’s brown costume One:12 Wolverine, but I think they 100% nailed it with this figure.

The head sculpts are great. You have two masked heads, one with a closed lip, stoic face, the other teeth-bared and ready for a fight. The unmasked face might be my favorite; it is pure swagger. That’s the face of someone that knows he’s the best there is at what he does.

Mezco has been sold out of the One:12 Collective NYCC Exclusive Wolverine figure for some time now, but if you can track one down, I highly recommend it. You won’t regret it, bub.
