Archie Comics has been making tons of news of late, in case you haven’t noticed. In addition to all the digital initiatives they’ve recently announced, they’re also repurposing the famed Archie Marries storyline by making all the original issues available as digital comics.

But the comics are still what makes Archie tick, and Archie gave us a look at an upcoming issue of JUGHEAD where Archie’s worst fear comes true when his pal moves in with him:

Archie Andrews and Jughead Jones have been the best of friends since they were children, but this May their friendship will be put to the test like never before. Be there when Jughead moves out of his house and in with Archie and his family! The Andrews find out just what it is like to “keep up with the Joneses” when they have to take care of Jughead and Hotdog.

Archie may have always wanted a brother like Jughead, but did Fred Andrews always want a son like Jughead? It’s a difficult spot for Archie’s parents when their son’s best friend takes advantage of their hospitality. Is that too much for them to put up with?

Story by Craig Boldman, art by Rex Lindsey and cover by Fernando Ruiz.

  1. If you’re able, seek out the Archie story where Jughead takes over the school newspaper. It’s a startlingly accurate critique of modern journalism.

  2. And here I thought it was the conclusion of the “Will You Marry Me?” trilogy (depending on what the laws are in Riverdale, maybe “Will You Civilly Unite With Me?”).

  3. i have a friend and a boy is in love with her but she is not in love with him. what is she suppose to do? and please dont laugh i am 11 years old.
