Comic-Con may be over, but the memories last forever. Is that cheesy? Oh, well. San Diego became a mecca for nerdom once more this year and we were lucky to capture much of the convention in photos and on film, as well as through dozens of reported stories right here on The Beat. Today, we bring you San Diego Comic-Con International ’19: Day 2 in photos taken by Pinguino, a contributing photographer who spent the weekend on the ground with The Beat crew in San Diego. In case you missed it, Pinguino’s Thursday photos are here.

We’ve got video, too! Our own Alex LuKyle Pinion and Heidi MacDonald have recorded a few videos for The Beat‘s fledgling YouTube channel, including an exploration of Batman’s 80th Anniversary event, an interview with Todd McFarlane, and their immediate reactions to Marvel Studios’ Saturday Hall H presentation.

Check out some of Pinguino’s photos below. Of note: George Takei, Jae Lee, a massive Iron Man, Hazel and Cha Cha, Squirrel Girl, a very cute dog, and… prehistoric Thor? This cosplay-heavy gallery definitely represents the best and most random of SDCC 2019, so without further ado: Day 2 in photos.
