Well, after all that chatter about who was editing what at DC, we’ve just learned that Jeanine Schaefer, who had worked with Mike Marts, Mike Carlin and Eddie Berganza on such books as Countdown, 52 and Final Infinite Crisis, just started today at Marvel, working in Tom Brevoort’s office.
Yes, it’s true. Old news to me since I worked for her on Scooby and I knew the story that went down last week. She said she left DC with well wishes and no hard feelings. Marvel offered her a better deal that she couldn’t turn down.
So I’ll miss her on Scooby…she was easy to get along with and I never had any problems with her so I think Marvel lucked out.
Faaaaaaaaaaaschinating. I bet she’s taking over for Molly Lazer.
