Writer Phil Nutman passed away this week after a brief illness. Details are’t available, but there’s a touching eulogy for him at Fangoria where he was a regular contributor. Nutman was best known for his horror novels and film work, but I knew him when he was involved with Tundra Comics, a horror story of a different kind. He was an amazing character, and I hadn’t seen him since those long ago days, but I’m saddened by his passing. A fund has been set up to help his family with funeral expenses, here.
