As we’ve been noting, Marvel is giving their upcoming Champions team book a YYYYUUUGGGE push, with plentiful retailer incentives, a debut party promotion, and a “Change the World’ teaser campaign spotlighting the young cast. And here’s the first preview of the book, which comes out in October. Mark Waid and Humberto Ramos are the creative team.
The above cover, marked not final art, is still a lovely call-back to the original Champions, an oddball team that consisted of Hercules, Black Widow, Ghost Rider and the Angel. Sort of a grown up privileged team, with a greek god and a billionaire among its ranks.
