Red Wolf, a character created a few decades ago is becoming the next star of the Marvel Universe. The new ongoing series starring the character is set in the 1872 version of Marvel continuity previously seen during the 1872 Secret Wars miniseries. The character first appeared in Avengers #80 in 1970 crafted by Roy Thomas and John Buscema. Nathan Edmondson is writing the title with art from Dalibor Talajic and cover artist Jeffrey Veregge adding input to the art direction of the series as well. In the previous story, Red Wolf overthrow the Kingpin with some help from an old west version of Steve Rogers.
