Poe_Dameron_Invitiational_Postcard_FrontSince last December, American has had  a new sweetheart and it’s rebel fighter pilot Poe Dameron, as portrayed by swoony Oscar Isaac in Star Wars The Force Awakens. MEn, women and children are all abuzz about this hunky space jockey who grew up dreaming of flying an X-wing, just like the rest of us, and whose tender friendship with the man he named Finn has fired the imagination of Tumblr like no other friendship.

And Marvel knows it has a good thing comics in the new STAR WARS: POE DAMERON mini series by Charles Soule and Phil Noto. So good that they are offering Poe Dameron Party packs to participating comics retailers. Because nothing says party like Poe Dameron.

To qualify for the party, retailers must order the book in quantities that are 100% of Star Wars #12. Which is a short way of saying, a lot of comics. but it’s all worth it!

  1. I thought Poe was kind of a dud in the movie. No back story, no motivation, he was just there on the side. He wasn’t bad, really, but I don’t really see what the fanfare is about.
