Marvel turns 80 years old next year, and to celebrate the publisher is releasing a series of one-shots reviving some of their classic properties for one last dance out in the sunlight. The returning titles include Invaders by Chip Zdarsky, Carlos Magno and Butch Guice; as well as Marvel Comics Presents by creators including Charles Soule, Ann Nocenti, Greg Pak and Paolo Siqueira.
Several other one-shots including Crypt of Shadows, Journey Into Unknown Worlds, and War Is Hell are also planned to be published next year, although they don’t have creative teams announced yet. Not many other details are known about the project at this time, although the comics appear to all be stand-alone as things stand. The first one-shots will begin to be released in January 2019.
Bring back “Not Brand Echh!”
And, just to piss off fanboys, bring back “Patsy and Hedy,” “Millie the Model” and “Linda Carter, Student Nurse.”
