NYCC is a mere few days away so those traveling into town best start packing! Exhibitor exclusives continue to be announced including Dark Horse. With both the Netflix Umbrella Academy television show making its presence known at NYCC as well as a new Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion comic series from Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, it’s no surprise that Dark Horse is offering a convention exclusive variant drawn the Hellboy creator Mike Mignola. Speaking of which, despite 2018 being the 25th Anniversary of Hellboy and a NYCC panel for the 2019 Hellboy reboot starring David Harbour, I can’t help but notice a surprising absence of NYCC exclusive Hellboy related items, not that there’s a lack of merch already available and sure to be coming out in the coming months.
