Gotham Academy, one of the critical bright spots of the DC lineup, is about to get some new artistic talent on board for a short time.
Series co-writer Brenden Fletcher announced on a panel today at NYCC, that the Gotham youth-focused series, in its second year, will be shifting into the teenage side of the book and spotlighting a number of supporting characters in solo issues.
In doing so, Gotham Academy will bring on artists such as David Petersen (Mouse Guard), Dustin Nguyen (Descender), and Hope Larson (Mercury, A Wrinkle In Time) for what will likely be one shot duties, with more names to be announced soon.
Gotham Academy‘s “Yearbook” arc will begin with January’s issue #14. You should read it, seriously.
