Here’s an interesting one– Marvel publishing’s Guardians of Infinity #8, a comic book that was supposed to be written by Dan Abnett (Aquaman) and drawn by Carlo Baberi (Thunderbolts) with an additional story from Neil Degrasse Tyson (StarTalk) has changed creative teams for the second tale. Horror film directors Jen and Sylvia Sosk (American Mary) have joined the comic for the second story, taking over writing duties from Tyson.

The Sosk twins made their Marvel debut via a short story in Secret Wars Journal #5. Newsarama broke the story, explaining that a Marvel representative confirmed the news to the outlet who stated that Previews ran the solicitation info incorrectly.

However the news might not end there, after taking a look at the solicitation that Newsarama ran for the eighth issue of the comic, it seems that July 20th’s #8 could be the last installment of the series. Bear in mind that this is pure speculation, but the steady drop in sales, sense of finality in the solicitation and $4.99 price tag likely don’t bode well for the upcoming series– take a look at the revised solicit and cover;

Marvel has also dropped a teaser for a surprise comic teasing: “Who is Mosaic?” CBR picked up on the Alias vibe exuding from the first teaser image drawn by Stuart Immonen (New Avengers). Alias, Jessica Jones’ initial series was poised for a comeback based on comments from Brian Michael Bendis (New Avengers) earlier this year. The image draws similarities to artist David Mack‘s (Kabuki) covers.
