Another teaser of a resurrection today from Marvel!
Call it the Lazarus effect! Call it a character from the Ppider-verse — Uncle Ben? Ultimate Peter Parker? Toby Maguire’s career? Your guess is as good as mine. The most likely candidate, however is still Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben Parker, a character who has stubbornly resisted resurrection through 50 years of Marvel history. There have been dreams, hoaxes, imaginary stories, alternate universe but not the “real” Uncle Ben…whatever that means.
What do you think? Is it time to break Marvel’s ultimate taboo? One thing that isn’t a Marvel taboo…tweaking DC. The curtain on this promo seems to be a call-out to DC’s newly announced Rebirth. When Springtime hits, people will be rebirthing and resurrecting all over the comics universe.
My money’s on Gwen. She’s been such a massively popular hit for them (Spider Gwen, Gwenpool, Gwen variant month) that resurrecting her for real is going to be just too tempting.

I’m leaning toward Gwen as well. “Too much of a good thing” aren’t words you’re going to hear much at Marvel and DC, after all.
10 to 1 odds its Gwen. Ben Parker’s the one person who needs to stay dead. Bringing Gwendy back just adds to the soap opera that is Spider-Man.

As for Gwen, now that they found a way to have her back (in a fashion) without ressurrecting, why would they do it?
Or maybe it’s the totally unexpected (and unwelcome) return of… Ben Reilly!
Really excited by the possibility that Charlotte might be coming back to life.
