SPACE DUCKS HC INFINITE COMIC BOOK MUSICAL.jpg

BOOM! Studios
SPACE DUCKS: AN INFINITE COMIC BOOK OF MUSICAL GREATNESS is Johnston’s debut graphic novel from BOOM! Town and Wieden+Kennedy Entertainment. Johnston, a long-time and dedicated fan of comic books, realizes his life-long dream of being a comic book artist with this release. In addition to the graphic novel, a Space Ducks app available through iTunes allows users to play their way through the comic narrative, game by game, chapter by chapter, unlocking animated films and Daniel’s new album as they go.

The BOOM! Town table will feature artists Daniel Johnston (Sunday only), Shannon Wheeler with a brand-new TOO MUCH COFFEE MAN volume, Rich Tommaso (SATCHEL PAIGE: STRIKING OUT JIM CROW), debuting his new OGN PETE AND MIRIAM, as well as KaBOOM! ADVENTURE TIME artists Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb.

NBM
P. Craig Russell, Terry Nantier, Brooke Allen, Neil Kleid and Papercutz’s own Rick Parker!

We’ll be debuting Craig’s new book, the eagerly anticipated fifth volume of The Fairy Tales of Oscar Wilde: The Happy Prince at the show, several weeks before it’s available anywhere else.

We’ll also have ten advance copies of the the signed and numbered edition of the book (How limited?  200 copies and the ten copies for sale will all be within the first twenty-five) which are quarterbound in real cloth and fine paper with a tip-in sheet signed by P. Craig Russell.  Also, it’s a tremendous opportunity to have Craig personalize your copy!

  1. Becky Cloonan and Dean Haspiel will be signing limited edition prints of their work at the powerHouse Books table [B6] on Saturday from 3-4. A third print by Peter Kuper will be available at his table throughout the weekend.

The prints were made to celebrate the release of LEAPING TALL BUILDINGS: THE ORIGINS OF AMERICAN COMICS and all proceeds will benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
