Looks like retailers and readers are starting to groove on some of Valiant’s new publishing efforts. Britannia #1, a book about a Roman detective in 65 A.D. Britain by Peter Milligan (Detective Comics), Juan Jose Ryp (NINJAK) and Raul Allen has already sold out at the distributor level, and is getting a second printing. The first issue goes on sale next month and the second printing of #1 will debut with issue #2 on October 12th.
Valiant has had a good run with Faith, 4001 A.D.’s War Mother and Divinity and this sounds like another intriguing title in their “THE FUTURE OF VALIANT” initiative,
