Mosaic is a new character from Marvel who is not only getting his own Marvel NOW! book but a big push as part of thw MU, and here’s a free preview comic to get you started.

Mosaic was inrtoduced a few months ago as the latest Inhuman: written by Geoffrey Thorne (Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man) and drawn by Khary Randolph (Deadpool: The Gauntlet), he’s a selfish basketball player who loses his corporeal body but can take over others. He recenrtly debuted in  Uncanny Inhumans.

Marvel’s giving him a big push shows a few things: they’re not afraid to promote a new Acrifan-American character and the Inhumans are continuing to push the mutants out of the way.

You can read the FREE digial preview comic right now or pickup his first issue for pay when it comes out in October. The free preview is also available on Comixology if you prefer.

  1. I think you could do a really interesting article in interviewing a fan of the Inhumans line. I’m a fan of the original family, and tried to read some of the new, low selling series, but I just can’t get into it. It seems like readers aren’t either. Can you find someone buying all the Inhumans titles monthly and find out what they like about them?

  2. An Inhuman created by corporate consensus given a solo book right away. Surely Marvel must realise no one will want to read this?

  3. I think Paul Horn is referring to some of the spelling typos (i.e. “thw MU” instead of “the MU” or “Acrifan-American” instead of “African-American”). I think running basic spell-check should help but understands the time constraints that you must be working with. Perhaps an assistant to just check before you publish?

  4. There’s a great book to be written about the downfall of the mutant franchise at Marvel, with this pitiful effort to replace it with the Inhumans being the final chapter.

  5. “Don’t just repackage old characters, create new ones!”

“Look at this pathetic attempt at a new character!”

they can’t seem to win. it’s almost like the people commenting have their own agenda.
