Adding to your library of Star Wars comics adaptations, Gary Whitta (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars Rebels) and artist Michael Walsh (Star Wars Annual, Hawkeye, The Vision) will create an adaptation of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI so you can relive all the deeds of Kylo Ren, Rose Tico, Luke Skywalker, Rey and other favorites.
The first issue of the six-issue miniseries arrives in May with a very nice cover by Mike del Mundo cover that spotlights PORGS, and a rather nice variant by Joe Quesada.

Very nice cover! Too bad the movie was crap. If I was this creative team I’d be rewriting and fixing it.
I liked the sarcasm of this thread, imaging if today’s nit-picking fans had been around in 1980:
“Watching The Empire Strikes Back and wow all this comedy with C-3PO while Luke is almost dying is so out of place. Irvin Kershner ruined Star Wars.”

I’m waiting for the professional comic critics to give it a 99% rating and the customers to give it 49%.
Why are they rolling it out six months after the movie was released?
Why is IDW also rolling out a graphic novel adaption of this movie in April? Do we really need two comic adaptations of a movie that so many seem to hate?
