In concert with espnW, Marvel Comics is producing a series of new art pieces that celebrate the inaugural class of IMPACT 25, a program designed to honor the 25 women that made the biggest contribution to sports each year. A variety of athletes, including Carli Lloyd, Lydia Ko, Serena Williams, Ronda Rousey and Misty Copeland are being paired with female Marvel heroes such as Ms. Marvel, Black Widow, Thor, She-Hulk and Medusa. EspnW has dubbed the team-up as a “#SUPERSQUAD.”

The website features art of 25 different heroes drawn by each Marvel’s premiere artists. The initial announcement was made on EW where Marvel Director of Content and Character Development Sana Amanat spoke about the initiative.

“Marvel’s mission is to celebrate the hero’s journey — and espnW’s IMPACT25 is a uniquely incredible way to do that,” said Amanat to EW. “Like our powerful heroes, the IMPACT25 have made a remarkable impression on the world and this is our salute to them. By merging this exceptional group of women with our mighty Marvel artists we are able to truly capture their super human feats in a program that brings together talent from on and off the field.”

CBR ran a full list of the artists that worked on the program, including: Kevin Wada, Afua Richardson, Sana Takeda, Jessica Kholinne, Annie Wu, Marguerite Sauvage, Marco Checchetto, Andres Mossa, Joelle Jones, Rachelle Rosenberg, Marco D’Alfonso, RB Silva, Walden Wong, Gyimah Gariba, Jeff Dekal, Emma Lupachino, Kate Niemczyk, Laura Braga, Jenny Frisson, Phil Noto, Alti Firmansyah, Kalman Andrasofszky, Jim Charalampidis, Michael Gaydos, Natacha Bustos, Nicole Virella, Goran Sudzuka, Miroslav Mrva and Elizabeth Torque.

The art pieces are drawn by some of the best talent at Marvel, so be sure to take a look at the full gallery, but here’s a peak at some of the images:
