Continuing its “march” to end of year accolades, (sorry) March Book Three topped the annual PW Graphic Novel Critics Poll.
Rosalie Lightning came in second and Teh Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye, How to tSurvive in the North, One Hundred Nights of Hero and Irmina were all tied for thirrd. There are about 40 more books on the “honorable mention” list so check out the link for more good books to read.
March Book Three has definitely become the graphic novel of the year not the least after winning the National Book Award, the first ever victory for graphic novel in that category. And as noted many many times, the message of the need to fight for liberty and democracy is more important than ever. Congrats to Rep. John Lewis, Andrew Aydin and Nate Powell.
