Wow is it Spring already? In the publishing world it is. Koyama Press has just announced its titles for Spring 2014 aka TCAF time! and as usual they look irresistible. The lineup includes new releases by Michael DeForge and Jesse Jacobs. Information below:
Cat Person by Seo Kim

Seo Kim was born in Seoul, Korea, and then immigrated to Toronto, Ontario just a few months later. Kim currently lives in Los Angeles and works as a storyboard artist for the massively successful Cartoon Network show, Adventure Time.
A Body Beneath by Michael DeForge

A Body Beneath collects issues 2-5 of Michael DeForge’s multi-award winning, anthology Lose. DeForge’s singular vision reveals the menace in the mundane, the humor in the horrific. Michael DeForge was born in Ottawa, Ontario. He currently lives and works in Toronto as a cartoonist, commercial illustrator, and as an effects, props, and character designer for the hit Cartoon Network program Adventure Time.

Jesse Jacobs was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, and now draws comics and things from his home in London, Ontario. He has worked on the Cartoon Network show Adventure Time, and has appeared in the 2012 and 2013 editions of Best American Comics.
100 Crushes by Elisha Lim

Toronto-based artist Elisha Lim’s work celebrates the dignity and power of being neither straight, nor white, nor cis-gendered. In 2011 they also successfully advocated for Canadian gay media to adopt the gender neutral pronoun “they.”
