According to this tweet from IDW  CCO and e-i-c Chris Ryall the recent opening for an editor at IDW has been filled by Joe Hughes, formerly of NYC but now enjoying the year round al fresco dining of SoCal.

Hughes was last seen as the editor of Comics Alliance back in its heydey, and prior to that was an assistant editor at Vertigo (and worked in direct sales at DC before that) so he has pretty much the ideal resume to be a mover and shaker in Comics c.2017. And he’s smart and much liked by most everyone. So: Great hire!
