Tom Taylor’s new Injustice 2 comic recently launched with the bang by introducing the Suicide Squad and a new Batman, soon it’ll be time to see what Ed Boon and Netherrealm Studios have created when Injustice 2 the game launches in less than 2 weeks. Today, WB Games have announced the first three DLC characters for the game.  Red Hood, Starfire and Mortal Kombat guest star Sub-Zero are first up. Players will be able to battle it out with these iconic fighters from the DC and Mortal Kombat Universes and utilize their unique moves and skill sets when they purchase the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition or the Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition. It looks like the game will follow the developers previous “Kombat pack” strategy where new characters were bundled together in content drops. In addition, it looks like Sub-Zero may not be the only Mortal Kombat guest star as silhouettes for the remaining fighter hinted at the hat of the classic MK character.

Injustice 2 launches on May 16 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.  Keep an eye on Comics Beat to read our full review of the game soon.
