Not content with celebrating the 100th issue, Image and The Walking Dead are now ramping up for the 10th anniversary of the bleak, flesh eating mega-hit. #115, the 10th anniversary issue, will have a bunch of variant covers by Charlie Adlard, colored by Dave Stewart, that add up to the complete image seen above. It’s a loving tribute to all the wonderful moments of dismemberment, sudden, violent death and unrelieved existential despair—one from each year of the book’s run—that fans of the book have come to love.

In short, it brings a tear to the eye, it does.

THE WALKING DEAD #115 goes on sale on October 9, 2013 and is available for pre-order with local comic book retailers now!

  1. “WHAT KIND OF SICK FUCK BUYS THIS SHIT????”

Oh, wait… are we giving indie comics a cultural context or not? I guess I should wait for the Comics Journal to give the word from on high…

    It’s so confusing…

  2. This comic is garbage, through and through.

@Torsten: I don’t know if you are calling Waling Dead an indie comic or not, but if you are, you need to stop that right now.
