Neither Niko Henrichon nor Darren Aronofsky were present at the Image Expo, but a quick sharp announcement right at the end of the keynote speech was that both will be involved in a graphic novel called Noah in 2014.

noah

This looks to be a reprinting of a series already available in parts of Europe, which is scheduled to last for four graphic novels. Two have already been published in France and Germany, but this will see an English language version? I believe.

Aha! And Aronofsky will be involved as his next film is an adaptation of the series, starring Russell Crowe. There we go, we got it.

  1. Aronofsky’s production shopped this to all a ton of publishers. All of them passed. The graphic novel was not even written by him, but someone in his production company.
