On Tuesday, April 18th, Telltale Games explores the Marvel Universe in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series. Fans will be able to download the first of five episodes, “Tangled Up In Blue”.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is a brand new story of the universe’s unlikeliest Super Heroes: Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of them has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands.
We’ve been waiting to see which direction Telltale would take the Guardians in ever since the game was announced. It looks like the developer has decided to blend James Gunn’s atmosphere with Brian Michael Bendis rough-and-tumble adventure driven narrative. We’ll have our full review soon.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series launches digitally on April 18th (season pass also available) while a physical season pass disc with access to the upcoming episodes is in stores May 2nd.
