200710031316And speaking of Manga, Fox Atomic has a movie based on the Japanese novel and manga GOTH in the works. JT Petty is slated to write the script. We like Anime News Network’s description of the plot best:

Itsuki Kamiyama, a student with normal look, who obsessed with death and murder around him, together with Yoru Morino, his female classmate, who has the same hobby with Itsuki, they solve the strange cases of murder. However, Itsuki also obsessed with something else of Morino

  3. The author is considered to be one of the most talented thriller/mystery writer in the new generation. Born in 1978, he won the JUMP Literature Award when he was 17.

    Goth is a very well-received novel in Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. In Japan it won several awards and was the 5th best selling mystery novel in 2003.

  4. I absolutely loooved the manga!! and Im looking for the novel (cant find it in any store! ugh!!) but they’re making a movie??!! yaaay!! Im soo happy.. I can’t wait til it’s out in theaters and I hope it doesnt take forever to get it translated to english from japan.. = )
