It’s the middle of January, let’s get cold with Barge, a spine-chilling haunted house tale by Adam Szym, a cartoonist and illustrator from Massachusetts. One day, a group of kids comes across a house that just appeared by the river. They wonder how it got there, it must have floated somehow. A few of the kids want to go in, except for one reluctant girl. What happens when they visit not what they expect.

It’s a nice atmospheric piece from Adam Szym. I like the dark burgundy tones he used to colour the story. Barge is a nice mystery comic with engaging characters. It’s a good introduction to Szym’s comics

You can read Barge over on Adam’s website and you can follow him on Twitter
