Everything is coming up Harley Quinn this year for her 25th anniversary!

Last night during the world premiere of the DC Universe streaming platform’s Titans show, fans in attendance were treated with not only a first look at the upcoming Harley Quinn animated series but a special appearance by actress Kaley Cuoco who will be playing the titular clown.

Funny enough, Cuoco’s fellow Big Bang Theory cast member Melissa Rauch voiced Harley for the 2017 Batman and Harley Quinn animated feature. I don’t anticipate Mayim Bialik portraying Harley in the near future, but stranger things have happened! Cuoco is no stranger to animation, having previously provided voices for shows such as Disney’s Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. Possibly of note, Charlie Adler, a legendary talent in the animation voice world who worked with Cuoco on the aforementioned Disney cartoon, mentioned on this social media that he was working with Cuoco on a new soon to be announced project. Unless Adler was talking about another project, it’s possible he may be involved as well.

Besides Cuoco the Harley Quinn animated boasts an impressive cast of other talented performers including Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, JB Smoove, Ron Funches, and more. Though not all roles were announced, Christopher Meloni was revealed to be voicing Commissioner Gordon. And if you listen closely to the trailer below you may recognize Lake Bell as Poison Ivy and Diedrich Bader returning once more to voice the Caped Crusader after first voicing the Dark Knight in Batman: The Brave and the Bold

DC UNIVERSE also revealed a sneak peek of the upcoming animated series Harley Quinn (2019) featuring Kaley Cuoco (Big Bang Theory) who will voice the lead role. The adult animated comedy series follows Harley’s adventures, where alongside ragtag crew of DC castoffs, she tries to earn a seat at the biggest table in villainy: the Legion of the Doom. The strong voice cast for Harley Quinn also includes comedic talents such as Lake Bell (In a World…, Wet Hot American Summer series, Childrens Hospital), Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Ron Funches (Powerless), JB Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), Wanda Sykes (Black-ish), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Natalie Morales (Bojack Horseman), Jim Rash (Mike Tyson Mysteries), Diedrich Bader (Veep), Tony Hale (Arrested Development, Veep), Chris Meloni (Happy!, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit).

In addition to voicing the role of Harley Quinn, Cuoco is also an executive producer on the series through her Yes, Norman Productions, serving alongside Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey.

  1. Harley and Ivy definitely have chemistry. I’d be looking forward to it if I could afford it, if I could afford another bill.
