Valiant recently released a second wave of NINJAK VS. THE VALIANT UNIVERSE variant covers that spotlight the characters from the upcoming VALIANT DIGITAL webseries. And they are…a thing.
This is the first look at these live action webizodes that will include Ninjak, Bloodshot, Eternal Warrior, Livewire, Archer & Armstrong, and more.
On the covers we see Derek Theler (Baby Daddy) as X-O- Manowar, Michael Rowe (Arrow) as Ninjak and Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) as Bloodshot on Rapture #2.
We also meet Alex Meglei as Archer alongsideKevin Porter (Seeds of Arkham, Dodgeball) as Armstrong, on the cover of the one-shot Rai: The History of the Valiant Universe.
And Ciera Foster as Livewire on the cover of Divinity #0.
And they are…a thing.
The digital series will be directed by Aaron & Sean Schoenke of Bat in the Sun Productions, creators of the YouTube series Super Power Beat Down; and written by Aaron Schoenke, Sean Schoenke, and Joe Harris,
Besides the talent introduced above, the series stars John Morrison (WWE, El Rey’s Lucha Underground) as the Eternal Warrior and Chantelle Barry (90210, Entourage) as Roku.

I don’t quite get the “…a thing” shtick. It certainly doesn’t look any worse than the trailer for Black Lightning.
