The Los Angeles area has become a mini Free Comic Book Day mecca. What started with readers only visiting their local shops has now evolved into a full day’s worth of activities for those brave enough to do FCBD right. You could start your day in Hollywood at the Golden Apple then stop at multiple shops along the way as you end the day in the westside at Comic Bug. For 2017, one of the hidden gem comic book shops of southern California, Hi De Ho Comics, will be expanding its own FCBD footprint into a mini-con complete with creators and a Cosplay contest.

From 10am-5pm on Saturday, May 6, FCBD attendees will have a chance to meet-and-greet with:

  • Ambrose Quintanilla
  • David Davis
  • Shannon Eric Denton
  • George Ford
  • Karl Altstaetter
