It is a hard life the former king of Hell leads. Trapped in a very special new hell of his own now, Lucifer rants and raves. His stories come in fits and starts like riddles or fables– it’s all very hard to know what’s real and what’s not these days, isn’t it?

Now, after a nasty fall into a hole he’s desperately been digging, Lucifer finds his own legs rotting away. Gone are the days of healing. Long gone are those last vestiges of divinity. If Lucifer is to escape his captors and accomplish his goals, he must confront the approaching darkness like any man– with a steely heart and a brain that is perhaps unwilling, or unable, to consider all the consequences of his actions.

Lucifer is in misery. No longer able to heal his broken body, escape seems further away than ever…until hope arrives in the form of a mad poet. Meanwhile: a tome of prophecy is found among the cookbooks, and a finger or two are lost down the side of the couch.

  1. Counaelling, or discussion with William Blake? Could be good. I’ll certainly enjoy seeing how he’s represented, at least.
The cover’s right, this particular story has gone for the macabre. Interesting where they go with that.
